Principal Consultant
C.F.: BRNWLM68E13Z602E
William von Kader, BEng(Hons), MSc, has extensive sales experience in the geospatial market, with a career spanning over more than fifteen years.
His responsibilities have previously included remits across the globe, most recently comprising markets in Central and Western Europe, NATO and the United Nations.
William has served leading names in the geospatial industry such as Airbus Defence & Space, Maxar Technologies and Infoterra, with an impressive sales and business development track record.
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and very-high resolution (VHR) electro-optical satellite imagery are key examples of product portfolio items he represented in Europe and North America.
Understanding the customer's objectives first, and only then matching these to the available technical resources: a simple sauce with few ingredients which, as in so many of the best dishes, makes all the difference for the end result.
Previous to his sales career in the geospatial field, William worked as a GIS Analyst (later GIS Coordinator) for the US 7th Army Training Command's Integrated Training Area Management (EUCOM/USAREUR 7ATC/ITAM) as an embedded contractor through Parsons Engineering. During his tenure he was first-hand end-user of geospatial products, integrator and developer of geospatial solutions for the Army's end-user market.
William von Kader holds a Bachellor of Engineering honours degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University (Surrey, England), and a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Forestry and Land Use Management from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität (Freiburg i.Br., Germany).
Born in Rio, William moved to Gibraltar in 1985. In 1997 William moved to Germany, where he lived for 25 years before returning to The Rock in 2022. In April 2025, William and his family moved to the beautiful city of Trieste, in the Italian Adriatic coast.
